Archiving Your Paper Documents

The paperless office is finally here. Meanwhile, what do you do with the cabinets filled with drawers of files? Scan them in and transfer them to disk. Simple graphics scans at 25¢ per page will give you files that can be printed for any purpose at a later date. At medium to high resolution, two feet of files will convert to one CD ROM.
Other, more sophisticated methods are available at cost, including proofread OCR for creating word-processing documents, HTML-enhanced disks for virtual office simulation, etc.
